My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Robort!!

Probable clerical error, definite sweetie, Robort is a gentle boy who is waiting for his forever family! At 4 years old and 17 pounds, this terrier mix is perfect for a family who wants a small but active dog. He is so smart, learns very quickly, and when he falls in love, he's the most loyal little guy you'll ever meet!

Timid at first, he opens up more and more each day. He has learned he loves soft beds and blankets. He loves time outside, has recently discovered play, and loves to chase a tennis ball-he's even brought it back a few times! He prefers savory snacks to sweet ones and will do just about anything for a good snuggle on the couch!

He's adjusted quickly to house training and loves to spend time in his pen as long as he doesn't feel too confined. He warms up quickly to his person and takes their cues on who and what to trust. He's still learning what it means to be safe and loved so he needs someone who is willing to be patient and kind as he learns and explores. If you want to be this little man's favorite person (trust me, you do), apply to adopt Robort!

Additional adoption info

Please visit www.hopeanimals.org/adopt to learn more about our adoption process and to complete an adoption application.

Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter*, microchipping, up-to-date vaccinations, and current heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

*If pet is not old enough to be spayed or neutered prior to adoption, a $50.00 credit will be paid to your vet at the time of surgery.

We require a veterinary reference for current pet owners, and pets must be up to date on vaccines and heartworm preventative. We meet potential adopters in their homes and introduce the pets to the family's current pets to see if it is a good match. A copy of our adoption contract can be requested via email.
