MEREDITH (MICKEY), F/S, DSH, GREY BORN NOVEMBER 24, 2023
Mickey is a very playful, funny, exceptionally smart little kitty. She loves wand toys, ball toys and lasers! She will run around play for hours especially with wand toys. She can also be a couch potato as she is absolutely obsessed with watching bird/mice YouTube videos, animal planet and TV in general! She has the quickest squeaky meow and is small like a mouse, hence her name. Mickey was born outside and although she loves the indoor life, she’s still a little skittish around new people. For this reason she must be adopted into a home with at least one other confident, social cat who can help her find her confidence. Mickey loves other cats and bonds with them quickly. She allows full body petting and belly rubs when contained and can’t run away for example in a bed cave, crate, or carrier and is starting to allow petting during play and snack time when not contained. She’ll come up for treats and will eat from your hand. She has also recently starting cuddling in bed with her foster mom! Mickey needs a quiet home, with no young kids, though would do ok with older, calm children. She must have other cats in the house . Mickey loves routine and will learn it quickly, especially because she’s food motivated. Unsure about dogs.

More about this rescue
Our main purpose is to save the lives of cats in danger of death, starvation and disease and to educate the public about cats in their homes and neighbourhoods. Some of our rescues are hand-picked from overcrowded local shelters. Others have been rescued from known “dump” sites. Still others may be trapped from lives outside by kind volunteers or families or may be surrendered by families who can no longer care for them for various reasons.
