My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wanna see a dog smile? Grab a ball, grab me, and letandamp;#39;s get to playinandamp;#39;! I am a really, really nice boy. Some of my best friends here say that Iandamp;#39;m the most overlooked dog at the shelter. Iandamp;#39;m that hidden gem that maybe you are searching for?andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I love playing fetch and can do so for hours if you want to, I adore swimming pools to splash around in, exploring any outdoor park in town, and stretching out by your feet to show you just what a loyal and devoted companion I really am. Iandamp;#39;m a shepherd mix after all.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I would love to meet all your kids here at the shelter to make sure our energy and love for toys is a good match. I have so many things I want to tell you! Like the fact that Iandamp;#39;ve had furlough times with human friends, and I soaked up every minute of it. Because I was in a HOME where I belong, and I havenandamp;#39;t had a home in a very long time. I am not bothered by thunderstorms, Iandamp;#39;m house/kennel trained, I donandamp;#39;t chew on anything that isnandamp;#39;t my own toy, and I match my energy level to yours. Wanna play? Iandamp;#39;m there. Wanna chillax and just cuddle and talk, Iandamp;#39;m your man. I even heard furlough mom/dad telling someone at the shelter that Iandamp;#39;m quite wonderful in a million different ways!andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;If you have a big backyard and some toys to fill it, I couldnandamp;#39;t ask for more. I adore affection, being silly when we play and snoozing on a comfy dog bed. Iandamp;#39;m a pretty low maintenance fellow, so I sure hope if you are looking for a best friend, you will come to the shelter and ask for me. Iandamp;#39;m positive if I could snag just one meet and greet with a loving human like you, youandamp;#39;ll adopt me in a New York minute. Iandamp;#39;m such a good boy!andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Love from Thorandlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;PS Canandamp;#39;t forget to tell ya that humans believe Iandamp;#39;m really smart. Such as heeling and sitting when you stop walking. It is not perfect but I did it on my own so someone in my past must have taught me. Maybe you and me could work on it more so it would be perfection + work on other fun stuff for me to learn.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I also had a forbidden (not allowed on) couch and a couch I was allowed on in furlough. One andamp;quot;OFFandamp;quot; and I got off quickly. I did try it again BUT that is all it took for me to know the difference between the two and I never got on forbidden couch again.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Iandamp;#39;ve slept in my kennel overnight and slept on dog bed next to the humans. I was super with both. Please come meet me.
