Meet Evie!
This pretty girl is a three-year-old Blue Heeler/Rat Terrier mix, and she is currently looking for her forever home! Evie was owner released to the shelter because they could no longer care for her. This gal is outgoing and friendly, she does well with other dogs, we do not know how she does with cats, but we offer trial adoptions and meet and greets to ensure she finds her pawfect home! If you're looking for someone with spunk, this pup is full of it, she is playful and outgoing and would do great with children! We do not know if Evie is house or crate trained, but given time she will learn. Evie is HEARTWORM POSITIVE AND WILL NEED TREATMENT IN HER NEW HOME, she is UTD on vaccinations, SPAYED, weighs 33 pounds, and is ready to be adopted today!

Evie's adoption fee is FULLY SPONSORED!!!!!Dogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.

Monetary donations can be made over the phone or in person any time we are open. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and close daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Item donations can be shipped to the shelter or dropped off in person at 2935 Russellville Road, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.

Our mission is to help animals in need through sheltering, adoption, education, spay/neuter, and community outreach. We strive to build a community where people value animals and treat them with respect and kindness thus bringing an end to the cruelest practices towards animals. We aim to lower the number of homeless/unwanted animals and build a stronger animal protection movement within the community.
