From the foster: Licorice, 618, is a wonderful puppy. But beware, this puppy can't hold his licker! He will cover you with kisses every chance he gets. He loves to explore the backyard and is curious about his surroundings. He likes to play with stuffed toys and hard chew toys. He is learning that humans are not chew toys. He will go potty outside when he is taken out, but is still working on not having accidents in the house. He has been sleeping with his sister in a crate by our bed. They both sleep through the night and will run to go outside when they wake up. He has been spending the day while I'm at work in the kitchen and has used the tinkle pads well. He loves to snuggle on your lap and take a nap after he has worn himself out playing hard. He is food motivated which should help with training. This little boy would be a great addition to your family.

More about this rescue

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
