Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oreo is a cute Bichon/Shih Tzu mix who's only one year old and weighs about 17 pounds. This sweet guy was purchased to give as a gift to someone, but they didn't want him. When we got him, he was a horrible matted mess, not neutered, no shots, not socialized, and was very timid and nervous.
We got him cleaned up and vetted (all shots, neutered and chipped) and into a loving foster home where he blossomed into a fun-loving playful dog who is super affectionate. Oreo is great with other dogs, however has some leash reactivity when on a walk encountering people with dogs. This can be easily corrected with training. Oreo will benefit from more socialization with kind strangers to help build his confidence. He would do best in an adult-only home or one with older (teenage and up) kids.
If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Oreo, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Please go to our website www.k9bestfriendsforever.com and click on "Adopt" which will take you to our online application form.
