Callie is the most adorable 1 year old girl. She weighs 45 pounds. Callie is just a ray of sunshine. She’s always SO happy and that tail is constantly wagging. She can be shy at first, but warms up quickly. Her favorite thing is to just be near you and if you let her, she would love nothing more than to cuddle. She is the perfect mix of young puppy energy to play with but also snuggle up to afterwards. Callie also loves to play with other dogs. She has not met a cat yet. She will go right in the crate and stay quiet and respectful in there. She has not had one accident in the house. She knows how to sit and is extremely eager to please, so she would be easy to train other commands as well. She will fit in to your life so easily. Apply at bcaaofnj.org to meet her!

Our adoption process starts with the applicant filling out an adoption application for the pet they are interested in. When they have completed and submitted the application, the screening process is started, which consists of a vet check, phone interview and home visit. Once all the steps are completed, we determine, by our findings, if they are approved, and if so, then they are allowed to adopt from our organization. The final step is they must complete the adoption contract, along with the donation for the animal, which goes into our medical fund to defray their medical costs. All of our animals are spayed and neutered, up to date on all their shots, including rabies, they are parasite free and on heartworm preventative.

We have weekly adoption events at PetsMart every Saturday from 11:00 am till 2:00 pm at the Eastgate Square Shopping Center, Rt. 38, Moorestown, NJ and PetsMart, 62 Centerton Rd, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054.

More about this rescue

We are the Burlington County Animal Alliance (BCAA)located in Central New Jersey. We are a non-profit organization 501(3)(c), all volunteer rescue that saves animals from our local shelter and surrounding areas of New Jersey that are in danger of being euthanized. We take them into our program, get them the necessary medical care they need and adopt them back out to loving forever homes. We have 60 volunteers, many that open their homes to foster the homeless animals, we do fundraisers to raise money so we can continue to save the dogs and cats in need. We run strictly on donations from our adoptions and people who support our work.BCAA adopts to families in New Jersey, parts of Southeastern Pennsylvania and parts of New York.
