My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The one and only Grill Master Dave is in need of a forever home to call his own! Watch his tippy taps here to get a sneak peak of what life could look like with this goofy chap serving up smiles by your side! Grill Master Dave loves to rest his head on you and lean in whenever he can for extra cuddles. And trust us, he can get real smushy when the opportunity presents itself! When he’s feeling excitable, he can be a bit jumpy at times, but he is very food and treat motivated, and so he does fantastic with being redirected to keep “four on the floor”.

Dave originally came to PAWS as stray with a wound of unknown origin on his poor little nose. It has fully healed doesn’t require any further care, and now he's got a pretty tough looking scar for such a sweet gentle boy! Grill Master Dave is waiting to fill a home with love, laughter, and the kind of companionship that only a loyal dog can offer. If you're looking for a friend who will stick by your side, bring joy to your days, and be a constant source of love and warmth, this cutie is the one for you.

Because we don’t know the origin of Dave’s wound, he will need a special home without resident pets since he will require separation from other animals while he undergoes his quarantine period (120 days). He has done well with other dog previously, and seems like he’d make an excellent canine companion to anyone with a zest for play when the time comes, but right now he’s looking to shine in the spotlight!

If you’re able to provide a loving home for Grill Master Dave fill out an application here or email us at adoption@phillypaws.org!
