*** Tommy D came into the rescue with an injury to his right rear foot. It is believed that he was born missing several toes and acquired a separate injury. Tommy completed treatments to the wound and has been cleared for adoption. It appears that new paw pads are growing and that he uses the leg well, however as it is healing the skin is more sensitive and he may benefit from a boot as protection. He may benefit from this as he continues to grow. We are unable to predict what will develop with his foot in the future, any treatments going forward would be the adopter’s responsibility.
