My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Magic and Philip, a bonded pair of tuxedo cats, are looking for a loving home where they can spend their golden years together. Magic, a 14-year-old, and Philip, a 13-year-old, are both incredibly sweet and gentle, and they thrive on human interaction.

About Philip: Philip is the more outgoing of the two. Initially shy, he took some time to warm up, hiding in a dark corner of the foster mom's closet. However, after a few days of gentle coaxing and delicious treats like canned tuna, Philip began to come out of his shell. He quickly formed a bond with his foster parent, enjoying head butts, belly rubs, and long brushing sessions. Philip loves to play with ribbons, jingle balls, and feathered toys, and he's always eager to greet his humans with a vocal "hello." He's also a fan of oven-roasted chicken-flavored Greenies and comes running at the word "treats."

About Magic: Magic, the elder of the two, took a bit longer to adjust to his new environment. At first, he hid under the bed, only venturing out after a week to cautiously explore his surroundings. Once he warmed up, Magic revealed his affectionate nature, giving gentle head butts and enjoying petting and belly rubs. Though a bit less enthusiastic about treats, Magic has a unique personality and a distinctive zigzag in his tail. He prefers quiet observation but occasionally joins in playtime, and he loves lounging near sunny windows.

Both cats are now much more relaxed and open to human interaction. They come out to greet their foster parent with soft purrs and rub against their legs, showing how much they appreciate a kind touch. They can be picked up and held for short periods, and they both enjoy being petted and brushed, with Philip preferring longer sessions than Magic. After a recent dental surgery, both cats showed resilience, quickly bouncing back and becoming even more affectionate.

Magic and Philip are comfortable with dogs and have not shown any concern about the foster family's dog. They haven't interacted with other cats yet, but they are quite friendly with people. They are looking for a calm, loving home with a kind person who will respect their gentle nature and give them the time and space they need to continue feeling safe and loved.

Why Adopt Magic and Philip? This pair would be perfect for someone looking for easy-going, affectionate companions. Despite their age, they have plenty of playfulness left in them and are ready to share their love with a forever family. If you're looking for a duo with gentle souls and lots of love to give, Magic and Philip are your perfect match!
