Margo is a gentle and graceful young lady with light green eyes and a soft, elegant coat of white fur with gray tabby accents and even some hints of brown. Margo may start off a bit shy, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her sweet personality shines through. She’ll happily lounge by your side, and when the mood strikes, she’s all in for a play session!

Margo came to us as a devoted mama, raising five beautiful kittens who she lovingly cared for. Now that her kittens are grown, Margo is ready to find a home where she can relax and receive the same love and care she’s given to others.

She’s a fan of “lazy play”—gentle, slow-paced fun that matches her laid-back vibe—and absolutely adores being brushed, often showing her appreciation with soft purrs. Though mostly quiet, Margo has a cute chatty side she reveals once she’s comfortable, and she’s not shy about asking for pets and attention when she’s ready.

Margo hasn’t lived with other cats recently, but her calm demeanor suggests she could adjust well in a multi-cat home. Once an application is received an Adoption Counselor will call to discuss your preferences and set up a "Meet & Greet" appointment.

Meet the Pet

A cat or kitten can go home the same day as a "meet & greet".

Home Check

At our discretion, a home visit may be required. Adopters agree to keep cat(s) indoors only and to not declaw.

We offer "Meet & Greets" by appointment. To schedule an appointment to meet our cats/kittens please go to peterzippifund.org and submit the online adoption application form. A link is located on the right-hand side of our Home Page. Once received, an Adoption Counselor will contact you within 72 hours or less to book your appointment.

Adoption Fee: $125.00

Our adoption fee generally covers everything your new feline friend needs to start their journey with you:

*Spaying or Neutering: Ensuring the well-being of our cats and controlling the pet population.
*Microchipping: A permanent identification method to keep your furry friend safe.
*Vaccinations: Up-to-date vaccines tailored to the specific needs of each cat.
*Fecal Testing and Deworming: A comprehensive approach to intestinal health.
*Viral Testing (FeLV/FIV): Conducted on all adults and most kittens based on their origin.
*Comprehensive Blood Work: For many of our adult cats, ensuring their overall current health.

In addition to all standard treatments outlined above, many of our cats and kittens have received costly treatment for other maladies that result from abandonment or starting life on the streets.

Of course, if you would like to make a larger donation to help cover our care for the homeless cats, we would be delighted. All donations over the adoption fee are tax deductible.

In memory of Peter Zippi, a young man dedicated to the care of animals, The Peter Zippi Memorial Fund For Animals was founded in 1977 by Dr. Alice Villalobos. We have adopted out over 14,000 pets (mostly cats) since then. The fund is run by wonderful volunteers who work tirelessly to help those who can't help themselves. The fund sponsors spay/neuter vouchers to qualified persons, and shelter for and adoptions of lost and homeless animals.
