My name is Chico!

 Chico is a 10 month old Bull Terrier mix. This sweet and spunky guy is very loving, playful, and just all around adorable! We estimate he will stay under 55 lbs when fully grown but we cannot swear to that. Chico loves to go on walks and is learning to walk on a leash. This handsome boy is very smart and with the right training, he will thrive! Chico has an adorably wiggly butt and floppy polka dot ears.  He loves toys of all kinds but is equally content to settle down with a random stick he finds.  He gets excited and seems to like other dogs through the fences, but we always suggest a meet-n-greet if you have other pets in the home. Due to his sweet nature, we think Chico would do well with kids, though it is usually best for the entire family to meet a dog before adopting.

The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
