My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Murphy is a goofy boy who LOVES affection, swimming, toys and food!

Murphy is quite the referee with other dogs and would likely be happiest as an only dog with a human who takes him for adventures, hikes, camping… he loves alllllll the outdoor things!

Murphy is a strong but sensitive fella who needs a patient, firm but fair handler, who will continue his training.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

If you see a pet you’re interested in or you don’t but you would like to adopt from our organization anyway, please fill out an application!

2.

Meet the Pet

We set up first meet and greets in a public location for you to get to know the dog(s) you’re interested in.

3.

Meet the Pet

We do require a second meet and greet, which also helps if you’re torn between multiples! We encourage you to meet at least 2 dogs!

4.

Home Check

If the home check is goes well and everyone is still confident, the contract is signed, fee paid and your new dog can stay that day!

Additional adoption info

We pride ourselves in the support we provide our fosters and adopters, if there’s ever any questions, PLEASE call us!

More about this rescue

We are long-time animal lovers working hard to reduce the number of euthanized dogs in shelters. Our ultimate goal is to house and employ veterans, teach them how to prepare a dog for adoption and should they wish, reach them to run a successful rescue so they may take our model and open one anywhere there’s a need of Veterans and K9’s alike!
