My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pip is one of the most loving, goofy dogs ever! She absolutely adores humans and wants so badly to please them.

Pip has basic obedience training, is crate trained, walks well on leash and LOVES adventures. She has good recall and is fine out in public.

Pip starts her walks off slightly reactive (barky) toward other dogs but calms down quickly. She can be dog selective and really needs a large, confident, playful dog in her life who will give appropriate corrections when needed. She would also be fine as an only dog.

Pip loves car rides and is fine for baths. She would *not* enjoy dog parks.

Pip is good with kitties and AMAZING in the house!

We are not totally sure of her breed but we do know it’s freaking ADORABLE!!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

If you see a pet you’re interested in or you don’t but you would like to adopt from our organization anyway, please fill out an application!

2.

Meet the Pet

We set up first meet and greets in a public location for you to get to know the dog(s) you’re interested in.

3.

Meet the Pet

We do require a second meet and greet, which also helps if you’re torn between multiples! We encourage you to meet at least 2 dogs!

4.

Home Check

If the home check is goes well and everyone is still confident, the contract is signed, fee paid and your new dog can stay that day!

More about this rescue

We are long-time animal lovers working hard to reduce the number of euthanized dogs in shelters. Our ultimate goal is to house and employ veterans, teach them how to prepare a dog for adoption and should they wish, reach them to run a successful rescue so they may take our model and open one anywhere there’s a need of Veterans and K9’s alike!
