This is hard. This week, we accepted a surrendered dog that cannot be returned. He came with no papers. We were told that he was about 6 months old, about 20lbs, friendly (loves to play with toys), crate trained, not yet neutered, and is friendly with other dogs, cats, and humans. He is a Beagle, but we are unsure if he is purebred. We informed the original owners that if the match did not work, we may have to surrender him ourselves.
Unfortunately, while he seems very sweet to humans, he was not friendly with our long-time dog, and tried to bite and attack him. Fortunately, we are able to separate them, but keeping this baby will not work for our family unit.
