Location: McCormick, SC
Name: Jacob
Age: ~1.5 years
Breed: Chocolate Lab Mix (Assumed)
M/F: M
Spayed/Neutered/Shots: Neutered & UTD on vaccines and heartworm prevention
Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: gets along great with other dogs; has a lot of interest in cats and appears as though he wants to play with them but that may be stressful for some cats; unsure about children as he hasn’t been directly exposed to any but has an extremely sweet temperament and don’t expect it to be an issue
Aggression or medical issues?: none
Reason for rehoming?: owner’s husband just had major heart surgery and owner’s daughter just got diagnosed with diabetes that has already led to her going blind so she is having to move to care for the daughter and unable to transport and care for all her current animals due to human care that she is having to dedicate significant more time to now - still currently in their care but being rehomed through us
House/crate trained?: both but may take a little time to adjust to a new home and schedule
Additional info/story (personality):
Sweet boy with a very sweet temperament but may be a little bit shy at first.
Message/comment if interested. Make sure if you message me to include the animal’s name since I have a lot of rescues I am trying to help rehome at the moment. Adoption application & contract required to ensure good home.

We are foster based only at this time.

Meet and greets for cats are near impossible normally because we all foster/house both cats and dogs and the dogs "go off" when visitors come over making all the cats hide.

More about this rescue
In service of domestic animals in South Carolina, Frisky Business Rescue is a no-kill rescue that provides vital resources such as veterinary care, birthing assistance, medication, and rehoming or safe release (TNR) to the most vulnerable animals in the region. We specialize in animals with special circumstances that come from various backgrounds, including animal hoarding and abusive situations but primarily focus on vulnerable kittens, puppies, and pregnant/nursing dogs and cats. Before rehoming, we carefully screen new potential families to ensure the needs of our animals are met and that new homes will become furever homes.
