My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Mercedes!

This 3 month old spunky kitten came to us with her siblings Porsche and Beamer(our car week trio!) from Hitchcock Road Animal services as a litter of stray kittens.

Mercedes is a little firecracker of a kitten! Fearless and full of spunk, her tortie-tude shines through in everything she does. When she's not zipping around with boundless energy, you might catch her lounging on her back like a supermodel, completely relaxed and loving life. Mercedes is a bit stingy with her purrs, but when you do get one, it's like being on cloud nine. She's 100% energy and attitude, always keeping things lively. Paired with Porsche's instant purrs and Beamer's irresistible fluffy cheeks, Mercedes brings her own unique spark to the mix, making her a standout in any home.

Mercedes' ideal family would be with adult adopters or families with cat-savvy children over the age of six. She has not yet been introduced to dogs or cats outside of her siblings but may do fine with both given gradual and proper introductions!

Mercedes is currently at Petco in Del Monte Shopping Center. Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been received.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
