My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Pea was brought to us as a critical care medical case. Sweet Pea was rescued from an extremely neglectful home, weighing in at 2.5 lbs at 3 years old (body score of 0- indicating extreme starvation). Her previous family had money to buy drugs, but left Sweet Pea unfed. She was found with urine and feces soaked fur. Unfortunately the other cat in the home succumbed to the malnourishment despite medical intervention.

Sweet Pea has made a full recovery, and she has been waiting for her forever home for quite a while now. She has a very high food drive, which is undoubtedly due to her unfortunate start at life. She is free fed now, and loves to cuddle her favorite people. She tolerates cats and dogs as long as they respect her space. She loves to play with younger cats too!

Sweet Pea is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and tested negative for FIV, FeLV and heartworm.

We require 2 reference checks and a vet reference. We also check a shared do not adopt list and do not adopt to those who will declaw or let cats outside.
