My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Champ is a playful and affectionate 11-year-old PomChi who loves to nap, sample all snacks and fiercely protect his loved ones from serious threats (like barking at the mailman). Due to previous rehoming within my family, he has separation anxiety and recently developed chronic bronchitis in his old age. He's been my best friend for the past 8 years, so making the decision to rehome him is very difficult. However, my priority is his wellbeing, and my career changes have left Champ home alone more often than either of us are comfortable with. I'm seeking a loving home with a flexible schedule, resources to care for him, and the heart to spoil him rotten. He's lived a full life with me, so he has everything you'll need.

Full disclosure: He can be a bit nervous meeting new dogs, so if you have a dog, a meet and greet is essential before I can finalize the application. He's also generally fine with children, but I wouldn’t recommend him for small, curious or excitable children.
