My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calypso and Athena are siblings.

Say hello to Calypso with the cutest white belly and paws!  Calypso might be a little shy at first, but once she warms up to you, she’s a bundle of love and playfulness.

Once she's comfortable, Calypso loves to play with toys and explore her surroundings - she’s always up for a little fun!  If you’re looking for a loving, gentle kitten who just needs a little extra patience to show her true, playful self, Calypso is the one for you!  Within just a few days of being in her foster home, she is running up to her foster family purring, ready for affection.

Adopt Calypso today and give her the loving home where she can feel safe and happy! If interested please fill out an application at EHRcats.org.

More about this rescue

Eleventh Hour Rescue, based in Morris County NJ, is a primarily volunteer run, no-kill rescue that saves animals on Death Row from high-kill shelters. Eleventh Hour Rescue dogs and cats are cared for by our compassionate and dedicated team of volunteers and staff. Whether in foster homes, our kennel or adoption centers, each dog and cat receives a clean and safe living environment, fresh food and water, medical attention, and most importantly an abundance of love and care until they find their FURever homes. We are dedicated to educating the community about the animal over-population problem and the importance of spaying and neutering. All funds go directly to supporting our animals and their needs. We are an eligible charity under federal code 501(c)3 founded in 2004.
