Lady is a three-and-a-half-year-old female Great Pyrenees and Bluetick Hound mix who has found herself in the care of the animal shelter. Despite the challenges she has faced, Lady remains a gentle and loving companion who is deserving of a forever home that can provide her with the patience, care, and affection she craves.
One of Lady's favorite activities is taking long, leisurely walks, where she can take in the sights and sounds of the great outdoors. She also loves to cool off and splash around in the water, making her a natural companion for swimming adventures. However, it's important to note that Lady does not get along well with cats, so a feline-free home would be ideal.
Where Lady truly shines is in the company of children. Her gentle nature and patience make her an excellent playmate and protector for little ones. Families with active, rambunctious kids will find a loyal and devoted friend in Lady. Potential adopters should be aware that Lady has shown some toy and food aggression around other dogs. As such, she may do best in a home where she is the only pet, allowing her to receive the undivided attention and affection she craves. With patience and proper training, Lady can learn to navigate these challenges and thrive in a loving environment. With the right care and dedication, Lady will make a wonderful addition to a household that can provide her with the stability, patience, and affection she deserves.
