Sadie is a smaller 2.5 year old female German shepherd mix, black with hints of brown, and weighing 45 lbs.
She is spayed, microchipped, and UTD on shots and preventatives.
She is house trained, crate trained, and rides well in the car.
Sadie was rescued from a neglectful situation in SC. She had been tied to a tree, was pregnant, and heartworm positive when rescued. My mother adopted her in May 2024.
Sadie is a sweet outgoing dog who enjoys attention and loves to run and play. She likes most dogs, but can be somewhat submissive with people.
Sadly, we need to rehome Sadie because she is too strong and high energy for my 80-year-old mother. She is very intelligent and highly trainable. She completed a 6 wk. basic obedience class and is still working on her leash behavior.
Sadie needs someone who is familiar with her breed and able to give her the mental and physical activity she requires.
We love Sadie, but she is just not a good fit for my elderly mother.
