Taz is a delightful 14-month-old terrier mix who weighs around 15 pounds. With his boundless energy and enthusiasm, he's sure to bring joy to an active family with a yard where he can run and play. This spirited boy loves to vocalize his excitement and might not be the best fit for apartment or condo living due to his penchant for "sounding alarms."

He could adapt well to having another dog around, provided there’s a proper introduction, though his lively nature might be a bit too much for older dogs. He’s not been officially tested with cats, so a cat-free home would be ideal for him.

As with all puppies and young dogs, Taz will require some basic obedience training so that he can become the best boy he can be!

Since Taz was found as a stray, his history with children is unknown. Therefore, he’d thrive best in a home with older kids who have some experience with dogs and who can match his energetic and happy-go-lucky personality.

Taz is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $350.00.

Our process starts with an adoption application, followed by interview / meet & greet with adopter and their existing pets, agree to a home check for the safety of the adopted pet and when approved, will complete an Adoption Agreement along with adoption fee. Fees vary based on adoptable pet's age, breed, and situation. Fees range from $120-$550. Cash or check is preferred payment.

We have adoption events every other Saturday from 11:00-2:00 PM at PetSmart in Scottsdale (10030 N. 90th Street).

Due to the holidays, the every other week schedule might be off beginning in January, so please contact Petsmart at 480-391-1647 to find out whether there is an event prior to making your way there.

Pathways Home Animal Rescue is an all volunteer / foster based organization dedicated to finding the best homes for abandoned, surrendered, and county shelter animals. We stay small so we can devote our energies and resources to all the animals in our care. When we take in a found or stray animal every effort is made to reunite them with their owners. All animals in our care receive proper veterinary care, are spayed or neutered, all appropriate vaccinations, preventative care, and microchip are administered before they are adopted.
