My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mickie man is obviously beyond adorable, and proper; but his personality is as goofy as it gets! One of Mickie's favorite activities is finding some sort of toy, and romping around with it, everywhere he goes. Since he's faster than the rest of the puppies, he puts on a show as they chase him everywhere for his now treasured toy. He eats it up and thoroughly enjoys himself. But, when he's not being goofy with other pooches, he adores being loved on by people. People are right up there at the top of his favorite things and he'd spend his days cuddled up close, specifically with his head draped over your leg, getting all the loves, and giving them, too. Mickie is only occasionally a little shy, while he warms up like a charm with some treats within seconds; we reckon he's just going through the typical scaredy cat puppy stage. Mickie man is believed to be around 6 months old, and weighs in around 30 pounds. With that said, he's a bit of a chunky boy currently because who could say no to those eyes? Mickie does great with kids, cats, and other dogs of all sizes; he is 100% crate-trained, and we believe this will make further house-breaking such a breeze! He will do splendidly in just about any loving home!

My adoption fee is only $310! This fee covers all of my vaccines, microchip, nex/heartguard, heartworm test, AND my spay/neuter!

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!

Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
