Floki is a big boy Weighing in at 76.4kg =168lbs looking to find a new loving home. Floki came in Aug.8,2024 nervous and confused but warmed up nicely once he got to know everyone! He is such a big suck and loves his walks out and about and in the forest trail. Floki would do best in a home with someone who is experienced with Large breed dogs. He would do better with a mature family/home. He does well with other dogs and lived in a home with cats. He will sniff and investigates new cats and because of his size he can be seen as intimidating, slow introductions and letting him have the space to settle in would be best for him. Floki is crate trained and we have one here in his size to go with him to his new home. Floki is nervous of unfamiliar men at first but with slow introductions, and in good time, he will warm up well. Once familiar with people, he will relax with them and you will start to see his funny goofy character in no time. Staff do not recommend Floki with small children (under 15 years) Floki knows his basic commands, sit, stay, and shake a paw! He will stick his paw out to you when you stop petting him, wanting more affection and attention from you. He is famous for leaning right into you when you give him good back rubs too! If you would like to come meet Floki please e-mail info@uppercredit.com to get your pre-questionnaire or if you have any questions please contact the shelter at 519.833.2287, staff would be more than happy to talk with you about him!
