My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daphne is the sweetest girl. She came to the shelter as a stray in poor condition, underweight and with wounds on her head and body. She is estimated to be 10 years old, and is front declawed, and somehow survived on her own. Daphne has made tremendous progress in recovering, gaining weight and healing for her former wounds. She is gentle, easy to hold, and loves pets and quality lap time. She also will chase strings or other toys like a little kitten. Daphne has not reacted around other animals and would likely do well in most homes with proper introduction to other friendly animals. She would also be a lovely solo companion. Daphne has a reduced adoption fee of $30.

Visit inapl.org to print out an adoption application. If you are interested in a specific pet please remember to write their name and kennel number(there are multiple animals with the same name in our shelter.)

Cat/kitten adoption fee: $85
Includes: Spay/neuter, FIV/Feline Leukemia/Heartworm testing, vaccinations, rabies shot (for those old enough), wormer, microchip and a free vet visit at participating vets.

***Cats adopted from PetSmart (Anderson location) get an adoption packet from PetSmart with valuable coupons for a free bag of food, discounted toys, etc.

Dog/Puppy adoption fee: $100
Includes: Spay/neuter, Heartworm test, vaccinations, rabies shot (for those old enough), wormer, microchip and a free vet visit at participating vets.

Dogs from the F.I.D.O. shelter dog prison program adoption fee: $150
Includes: Spay/neuter, vaccinations, rabies shot, Heartworm test, microchip, wormer, a free vet exam to use at a participating vet. They are also crate trained, house trained and know their 5 basic commands.
