What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Meet Machu, a resilient 4-year-old pup with an incredible story. Rescued from an abandoned barn three years ago, Machu was underweight and covered in paint but has made remarkable progress. Due to our demanding work schedules, we can no longer give him the attention he deserves. Machu is microchipped, up to date on rabies, and will have all vaccines updated before adoption.
He’s a high-energy, intelligent dog who thrives in a pack environment and loves to run and explore. Machu would flourish in a home with other dogs and enjoys herding or tackling obstacle courses. Though not a morning dog, he’s eager to play after work. Despite his size, he’s a snuggly lap dog with no sense of personal space! Due to his size, he’s not ideal for homes with young children.
Machu is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows advanced commands. He has some fear aggression toward female strangers, so he’d do best in a male or mixed-gender household without kids. Apply to adopt Machu today!
