If you are looking for an adorable Shih Tzu that was a pirate in her past life, Chelsea is the girl for you. While she doesn’t have an eye patch, she can be sneaky and lure you into giving her extra treasures (treats)! Chelsea is a 12 pound, 3-year-old Shih Tzu that only has one eye, but that won’t stop her from living her best life. She is a sweet girl that loves to spend time snuggling with her people. Chelsea loves to be where the action is and also enjoys playing fetch, playing with her toys, and chewing on her Nyla bones.
Chelsea does a great job sleeping in her crate and keeping it clean. She hasn’t had any accidents in her foster home but she does not signal when she needs to go out so she will need to be kept on a schedule. Chelsea has not been around any children but if they are respectful of her, she would most likely love them as well. She can be bossy with other dogs so any fur siblings should be tolerant and laid back.
Chelsea was an owner surrender; her dad was elderly and could no longer care for her. She must have been a great co-pilot because she loves to go for car rides. Chelsea rarely barks and everyone always comments on how quiet she is.

All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters.
