My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Illinois
Nickname: Noisy
Age: About 2 year olds
Reason for being at BCHS: One of many hoarding cats we have dubbed "the state cats"
Medical: Neutered, Up to date on shots, and microchipped

Meet Illinois, a handsome shy guy looking for a calm and nurturing home! Rescued from the state cat hoard, he thrives in mellow environments where he can feel safe and secure. Illinois loves cozy hidey beds, cat towers, and especially enjoys watching the world from a window perch. He enjoys playing with cat toys and often will chase around a feather wand toy too. With a little patience from his adopter, he'll gradually come out of his shell, especially if he has a feline friend to help boost his confidence. With the staff and volunteers that he has grown to know, he has become appreciative of gentle pets. If you're ready to provide a loving space for this gentle, good-looking soul, Illinois could be the perfect companion for you!
