Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the absolute sweetest, goofiest, animal and people loving young lady. Her name is Sophie!

She's brave and confident, has a great attitude and personality, and is just so relaxed.

Sophie is a funny 2 year old 60 lb mixed breed that looks like a boxer or American bulldog mix. She loves other dogs and she even gets along with cats! House and crate trained and is a smart girl who knows commands like Sit, Come and No! She is ok on leash too!

Sophie plays nice by herself but is also a very confident and intuitive personality. Not much bothers her - she would be great as a companion to a less confident dog, but fine with a more energetic sib too. She loves to play with toys and balls and has some mad dribbling skills. Check out the video of her playing with a large blue ball. Sophie would be a great asset to your soccer team or just to make you laugh.

She loves to ride in the car for an adventure. She spent a day with a volunteer amd her dog and went for a hike.At first she wasn't in love with the woods, but after a spin around the pond she found it a lot more fun, and now she's jumping logs and skipping through the crunchy leaves. She is currently passed out. This girl would be a fabulous hiking companion.

This sweet girl is looking for a forever home where she can be one of the family. She loves to cuddle and knows how to chillax. She has attended public events and did great with kids.

Our adoption process takes several steps and cannot be completed in one day. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

* Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member.

* Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog!

* Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord.

* Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication.

*Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets.

*Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.

We are a private, nonprofit, all breed, no-kill dog rescue.
