My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Belle's owner is an older woman whose daughter gave her a 5 year old pure bred schnauzer. The owner unfortunately has been diagnosed with cancer and can not keep the dog and neither can the daughter. They were both very upset at having to give Belle up but we promised to find her a good home. Belle mostly prefers women as she has not been around men and young children so she is timid of them. She walks well on a leash and gets along with other dogs her size and cats, loves her lap time and is crate trained. Belle is about 5 years old and 14 pounds. Please help Belle find the loving home she deserves.

We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).

Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.

Belle's adoption fee is $400. This covers all their age-appropriate shots, microchipping and vetting.

**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
