My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Currently in Texas and can come to Ancaster Canada on the next Transport.
River apx 2 years old and 10 pounds . She naturally has resting “B” face so she is not the most photogenic but I swear she is very sweet, although shy.
River is gentle and wants to love and be loved.
She has gorgeous blue eyes.
River and her family were rescued from a hoarding situation in South Texas.
The dogs all came to us a tad on the feral side and some are warming up a bit more than the others. River is still very shy and scared, quiet and unsure of new people and places but she blossoms more and more every day.
No small children please, but she does great with dogs and cats. River has a gentle soul, it took her a few days to come to us without wanting to run away and hide, but she continues to warm up to us every day.
River now comes to us and asks to be held and pet and she really loves to see all of the people she is used to. River does play and prance around with the other dogs but is a gentle player.
She needs a quiet home willing to put in some socializing , confidence building, and lots of positive reinforcement.
Once she gets to know you and her surroundings, she will walk on leash and harness but the first few days after arriving in her new home she should be on a leash and harness and preferably in a fenced in or secure area, or pen as well.
River is not at all aggressive and she really is not a runner, once she knows you she will be velcro. But at first she will be confused and afraid and extra precaution should be made just in case to cater to her timid temperament.
I am 110% positive that within 6-8 weeks of her being in her new home she is just going to be a regular, happy go lucky, fun and confident, sweet, gorgeous baby girl.
