Tater Tot is quite the adorable young dog! Tater Tot would do best with a gentle, patient human who can help her learn to navigate life. Tater Tot appreciates a hands off approach and gentle guidance rather than more invasive handling. With the right environment Tater Tot will likely be quite the happy, bouncy puppy.
Our walkers tell us that Tater Tot has that teenage energy interspersed with lots of playfulness, enjoys her walks, loves treats, rolling in the grass and a good belly rub.
Tater Tot is only available to families with children aged 10 years or older. Tater Tot is recommended for a multidog household. Primary Color: Brown Age: 0yrs 10mths 2wks

How to Adopt from Foothills Animal Shelter:
Visit the Shelter or one of our offsite adoption partner locations to find a pet. Once you’ve decided on an animal, you should check with staff to see the status and history of the animal. At this time, you can fill out an adoption application and visit with the animal.
We recommend you bring all family members to the Shelter to meet with the animal before you consider adopting. If you are interested in adopting a dog, bring any household dogs to the Shelter to determine if it is a good match. Also, if you rent your home, please bring the pet policy in your lease or rental agreement and contact information for your landlord.
Once your application is reviewed, you can pay the adoption fees and take your new pet home. It may take some time for your new pet to adjust to its new environment. If you have questions or concerns after adopting, please contact us at 303-278-7575.
