Why I need a new home

Does not get along with other pet

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Watson has been a beloved pet in our household for 14 years. Age hasn’t slowed him down a bit, as he still enjoys playing with toys and acting silly when you give him attention. One of his many quirks is that when you scratch behind his ear, he starts to kick his foot under his chin. His fur is so soft, making him a comfortable companion to cozy up with. We have a 1 year-old daughter, who he has been very friendly too as well.

Circumstances in our life have changed recently that require us to put Watson up for adoption. We are moving to Boston, where we will be living in a space that is unable to accommodate both Watson and our other older cat, who is currently suffering from various health issues. In his old age, Watson and our other cat have not been getting along (after living together for 12+ years) and will get into fights anytime they are near one another. For this reason, it is preferred that Watson’s new home does not have any other pets or animals.
