Meet the Pet
Home Check
Kip is looking for his forever home. Kip is approximately 2 years old and 8.5lbs.
Kip would love to join an active home; Kip needs a home with another dog to provide companionship and guidance. Kip is brimming with youthful energy so walks and doggy park excursions will be on your daily to-do list.
Kip is ok on a leash but in the past few weeks, he has become leash-reactive and hyper-vigilante of other dogs. He wants to interact with all the dogs he meets or sees while walking. The new family will want to work on leash manners.
Kip has separation anxiety and this should be helped by having a 2nd dog in the home. And Kip can be fearful when new people come into the home and will bark. He might like a home with few guests or a nice place to chill when company first arrives.
The ideal home for Kip. 1. Playful dog in the household 2. Quiet perhaps suburb environment 3. A home that will pursue training for leash walking and separation anxiety
Kip is fully potty-trained.
Kip is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped and he's had a recent dental.
Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs. To recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption. The suggested donation for KIP is $300.
If you are interested in adopting KIP, please complete our online adoption application at https://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/adoption-process/ . One of our volunteers will get back to you. Adoptions are local, and confined to the SF Bay Area.
