Kip is looking for his forever home. Kip is approximately 2 years old and 8.5lbs. And he's 100% adorable!
Kip would love to join an active home; he is full of fun and loves to walk long and fast! He's also good at dog parks where he enjoys a good game of tag! Check out his video!
Kip needs a home with another dog to provide companionship and guidance.
Kip is doing well on a leash. He has learned so much about walking in the busy streets of SF. He wants to interact with all the dogs he meets or sees while walking. He has
Kip has some separation anxiety. He has made huge improvements in that area and we do think that a 2nd dog in the home will really help keep that anxiety low. Kip can be reactive to new guests in the home but this can be managed by having Kip hang in his crate for a bit and then introduce him to the guests.
The ideal home for Kip. 1. Playful dog in the household 2. Quiet perhaps suburb environment 3. Lots of fun adventures and outings 4. laps, yes, he loves laps :)
Kip is fully potty-trained. Kip knows lots of basic commands...sit, come, stay.
Kip is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped and he's had a recent dental.
Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs. To recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption. The suggested donation for KIP is $300.
