Meet Nadia, a 1-year-old Pit Bull mix who has overcome incredible odds and is now ready to find her forever home. When Nadia first came to us, she was in a heartbreaking condition—emaciated, suffering from a severe skin infection, and with nails so long they were growing into her paw pads. We weren’t sure she would make it, but Nadia’s fighting spirit and sweet, gentle nature carried her through. Despite all the pain she must have been in, she was loving and kind from day one.
Now, after lots of love and care, Nadia has blossomed. She’s gained the proper weight, her skin is healing beautifully, and her playful, confident personality is shining through. This sweet girl is housetrained, crate trained, and gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids. Nadia does enjoy a good, playful romp with other dogs, so she’ll need a furry friend who can match her energy.
Here’s what makes Nadia so special:
Nadia is adaptable, happy, and incredibly sweet. She’s quiet (her foster mom has yet to hear her bark) and loves to snuggle. She sleeps through the night in her crate without any fuss and even enjoys a good bath. Because of her past, she does need to be on a feeding schedule with a slow feed bowl.
This resilient girl is looking for a home where she’ll be showered with love and never have to worry about being neglected again. Could that be with you? If you’re ready to give Nadia the forever home she deserves, she’ll reward you with endless loyalty, affection, and tail wags.
Her minimum adoption fee is $195 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
