My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Sky! I am a 1.5 year old female catahoula mix weighing just 45 pounds. I am an energetic girl who loves squeaky toys, bones, and soft toys. I also love to lay out on the couch or in my human’s lap to relax and I can stay that way for a long time! I love playing with my dog siblings and giving my human siblings kisses goodnight! Sometimes I pick up toys or shoes that aren’t mine, but when my foster mom tells me “No” or “Drop” I usually drop it right away! I don’t mind my kennel, I keep it clean and I’m very quiet once I’m in there! I am house trained, but it’s expected that I might have an accident or two the first couple of days I’m somewhere new, but once I learn where the door is, I’ll go sit by it to tell you I need to go outside. I walk well on a leash and I love being outside in the fenced in yard to play with my dog siblings! I also enjoy car rides! Do you think I could join your family?

If we find a good match for you, you can pay the adoption fee, sign the contract, and take the pet home!

Additional adoption info

Adopters fill out a no-obligation contract. If approved, they will fill out a contract for the animal. Adoption fees are $200 per dog ($250 for puppies 6 months and younger) and $60 for cats ($100 for kittens), which includes spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip registration, deworming medications, heartworm and flea preventative.

This is a small, foster based rescue run by volunteers. Please be patient as it may take a few days to approve your application.
