Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gustavo is such a handsome little dude!!! He is still pretty shaken up and scared. The other day (his 2nd day with Robin) he spent the majority of the day in a dog bed curled up next to Robin (shown in last pic posted). On his 5th day, he slowly started coming out of his shell and is getting more comfortable with his surroundings. Today it’s been a little over a week and I see a smile!!
Who knows what this guy went through. Who knows if he has ever had someone caring for him before Claudia rescued him. Who knows if he knows what trust is… but he will!
Those first days with a new foster can be so tough for all of us (dogs most importantly!). Gustavo’s one on one time with Robin (even if he scared to death and just laying) is doing wonders. He wouldn’t let anyone touch him or get near him for the first day or so but he is beginning to make progress. Baby steps. It’s all good, we have time. The moment it all ‘clicks’ will be very much worth the wait. ♥️
