Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bronson! A 9 month old German Shepherd x Blue Heeler x Retriever who is ready to find his forever home! Bronson is a busy boy who is looking for a farm where he can help out with your daily chores, or a person/family with a big yard where he can play with his people and get all of his energy out! Bronson loves his people, and his favourite place to be when he’s inside is beside you on the couch, or cuddling with you in bed overnight. He is crate trained and now sleeps well in the crate overnight, but if you’ll have him, he definitely thinks your bed is the place to be! He is a fiercely loyal dog who is ready to find his person. Bronson is a big boy who is still very much a puppy, and will do well with somebody who will commit to continuing his training and socialization. He is quickly picking up on commands in his foster home, especially when you have a good treat to reward him with! He is currently working through some resource guarding when he eats, so would do best if he is fed away from other dogs, or inside his crate, until this has been resolved. While he is great with kids, he is sometimes unaware of his size and known to knock tiny humans over, so would do best in a home without babies and toddlers, but do great with other dog-savvy kids. Bronson has been fostered with kids, cats, and other dogs and does well with everybody, but would also do great as an only dog. He can display some dominant behaviours when meeting new dogs, but works through this quickly. On a traditional leash Bronson has been known to be a strong puller, but when his foster family switched to a waist leash, they found he walked like a dream. Some of his cutest personality quirks include cobbing (gentle nibbles) when he’s getting love and hugs, and hiding his favourite toys under blankets and pillows. Bronson is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, flea and tick treated, dewormed, and microchipped. His adoption fee is 700.
