Meet Luna Bear! She is a beautiful 7 yo Border Collie Aussie mix. She has the softest curly girl fur and best wiggle butt in town. She is quite the unicorn pup and is sure to steal your heart.

*LOVES KIDS, she aims to be with her people 24/7 if she can
*Completely house trained
*Waits patiently for treats
*Friendly to dogs and cats
*Loves a good zoom in the backyard with her foster siblings
*So far is good with chickens
*Very chill--best couch bud, boat dog, and porch sittin' pal
*Loves kisses
*OK on leash, could use more training
*Likes outings such as Lowes, tsc, park etc.
*Dislikes crate but she's a good girl so that’s ok!
*Will get in the trash to get tissue paper for her shredding pleasure and steals socks . This is the only negative thing I have to say. We keep bathroom doors closed and gated the kitchen. Issue solved and if the kids would keep their socks up we would be set lol.

There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to her new furever family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.

Nancy Gonzalez, founder and CEO, created Australian Shepherds Furever (ASF), a non-profit organization to promote the educated adoption and rescue of the Australian Shepherd (Aussie) dog breed.
In July of 2012, ASF initiated as a Facebook page hoping to have 1,000 user "likes" by the end one year. The page quickly outgrew expectations, now with a network of nearly 64,000 individuals striving to provide aid and refuge to Aussies all over the country.
Using the Facebook page as a platform, the website www.australianshepherdsfurever.org was developed as an additional resource aimed at educating the public on this intelligent and beautiful breed. It provides resources for those seeking help, or those willing to contribute to the Adopt, Save, Foster (ASF) philosophy. Through this philosophy, ASF has saved the lives of countless dogs and helped to provide assistance to those that have nowhere else to turn.
We as humans have a responsibility to speak up and take action in favor of those beings that are less fortunate. Thanks to a team of passionate and proactive volunteers, Aussies nationwide are given a chance at a better life through Australian Shepherds Furever.
