Give it up for Gunner! 🎉 Gunner was found wandering the streets of Southfield alone, abandoned and sad. When he was taken into the shelter, he had given up hope. Thankfully, during his time in our rescue with some TLC, he’s got a new lease on life and is ready to dazzle his new family! 🌟 We believe Gunner is a 10 year old Hound/Rat Terrier mix and he is currently weighing in at around 35lbs, though he is a bit overweight. Though Gunner may look like an ordinary dog, he truly is one in a million! This good ol’ boy is enthusiastic about everything that makes life with a dog wonderful! He’s already trained & well mannered. Though he is a bit dramatic at times, it’s near impossible to resist his charm 💖
Our ideal home for Gunner includes:
🥎A possible dog companion. Gunner would do fine as a solo dog, but he does LOVE to make new dog friends!
⚾Gunner is the perfect dog for someone who loves dogs. He’s looking for a home where he can enjoy regular walks, play with the best stuffed toys, sleep in cozy dog beds (and sneak on the couch by you), and spend time by your side! We’d like him to have a home where he can be spoiled and with owners who are excited about him as he will be about them!
🥎Gunner LOVES his mealtimes and can overindulge. He will need someone who can monitor his diet and continue his weight loss journey!
⚾As a Hound mix, we don't feel apartment living would be ideal for Gunner. He's pretty quiet most of the time, but sometimes he's just gotta sing!
