NEW INTAKE 8/21/2024:  Momma Moon - female - approx 4 years old - 10.4 pounds - JRT/Chihuahua mix

Reason for intake:  We were called out on a critical situation that needed help.  The people were dealing with multiple health issues.  They loved their dogs and took care of them but had gotten in over their heads.  Multiple rescue groups stepped in.  We took in seven.  Please extend your good thoughts and prayers to the family.  All seven dogs will be heading to our vet clinics soon.  Stay tuned.  

NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS:  Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed.  Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining.   In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason.  We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption.  In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered.  Please note…  we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption.  Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.  We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link:  https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.416768288349589&type=3 OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
