My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Fluffy & sweet!

Katara is a sweet and gentle 8-month-old black-and-white kitten who’s the perfect blend of playful and reserved. While her brother Sokka may dive headfirst into new adventures, Katara likes to take her time, observing the world with her bright eyes before joining in.

Once she warms up, Katara shows her loveable and snuggly side, curling up beside you for some quality cuddle time. She shares a special bond with her brother Sokka, and they’d love to find a forever home where they can stay together.

Ready to double the love and bring Katara (and Sokka!) into your life? She’s waiting to meet you and steal your heart! They’re waiting to find their forever family. Read about their foster parents' experience on SVPP's blog!

Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped.

Additional adoption info

Are you interested in meeting one of our available animals? Please fill out the appropriate online application on our website. We will be in contact with you to arrange a meeting with the rescue pet you are interested in.

Please note that all of our rescue pets are in private foster homes and meetings will be coordinated with foster parents. Typically, after you meet the rescue pet, we will follow up with you to see how the meeting went. If a match is made, we can finalize the adoption quickly. Please note that we may require a home check as part of the application process. Thank you for your interest in our rescue pets!

Adoption fees are between $100 - $400 depending on animal, breed, age.

Go meet their pets

We operate Pup Plaza (www.pupplaza.org), Silicon Valley's first dog community center where we have monthly adoption events. If you are interested in meeting one of our adoptable dogs at Pup Plaza, please contact adoptions@svpetproject.org.

Cats and dogs are in foster care with volunteers. After completing an application, a meet and greet can be arranged.
