Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Singer is an active girl with a lot of love to give. She loves playing fetch with squeaky toys, tug-of-war, and chewing bones. Personal space means very little to her which translates to her being a 55lb lap dog that also functions as a pillow. She LOVES belly rubs and rolls over at the slightest indication that she might possibly get one. The couch is her favorite napping spot and she will claim the spot with the most pillows. Singer loves being outside, going on walks around the neighborhood and exploring trails. Her leash manners are improving, but she still thinks she needs to get everywhere fast or she might miss something.
Singer gets along well with other dogs and is always excited to see them. She is terrific with kids, but due to her size and energy level, would probably be best suited to those who are steady on their feet. She seems to be good with cats that are confident and ok with dogs, but will chase them if they run. Zero aggression, she just wants to play. (We keep a gate up because our cats do NOT like a dog that shows any interested in them.)
She is very food motivated and eager to please. She has mastered sit and down and is doing pretty well with come. She is still learning stay; her energy and excitement make it a challenge for her.
Singer is potty & crate trained. She is used to being kenneled overnight and generally wakes up when we head down in the morning. She is also kenneled on and off during the day while I'm working. She is bell trained and rings them when she needs to go outside. She will occasionally play dead if she thinks she hasn't been outside or out of her kennel long enough, but a treat is usually all it takes to resurrect her.
Singer would be a great fit for an active family that likes to get outdoors. She would love a yard to run and bake in the sun.
