My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dove is such a good boy! Even when he first came into the shelter as an injured stray nothing dulled his sparkle! He remained super sweet and friendly and is always ready to be loved on. Poor guy was found on 8/22/24, and was limping on his back right leg. He had some dermatitis and a bite wound around his neck. His leg turned out to be a ruptured CCL (with a little arthritis). With time, TLC< and rest he’s recovered so well! He’s able to walk and run normally on it. You’d be hard pressed to tell something was ever wrong!

Despite being thicker than a snickers, Dover seems to know his size. He’s always gentle with people and he walks well on a leash without pulling. It’s probably not a surprise this big boy LOVES his treats, but he always takes them nicely from your hand. He typically has a medium energy level, but he gets extra happy and excited to have you playfully chase him. He’s also happy to amuse himself all by himself, just by sniffing around.
