My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ky is such a handsome boy and those eyes... He is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 43 pounds.

Ky is a young, great pup with a fun-loving spirit and a sweet, affectionate nature. He is very attentive to you and would love to be included in all your adventures. We fear he was left outside alone a lot because he has some pretty bad fly strikes on his ears that are healing, poor muffin. So, he canโ€™t wait to find a loving family that likes to be with him. Ky is such a good boy who already knows how to sit, but he could use a little basic obedience. While he is playful, he mostly just wants affection and to be close to you. Ky can be a little submissive too and unsure about new things, an adopter who can help build his confidence would be perfect. He needs a home where any children are at least 8 years old. Gosh, he canโ€™t wait to find his family.

If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Ky would love to meet them. He has an excited approach with other dogs with an โ€œall inโ€ play style.

If you are interested in Ky and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!

*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
