Hi I'm PUDGE!

I'm a roughly 5 month old lab mix. My brother Nemo and I were saved just in the nick of time from a high kill shelter. Humans weren't very nice to me before I made it to my foster home, but I opened up very quickly to my foster parents despite that! I am the brave brother, and I lead the charge! I love to meet new people and new dogs. My favorite toys are Kong balls but I love lots of other toys too! My foster mom says I'm doing amazing with potty and crate training, it's been a breeze! I'm looking for a home to call my very own, and I can't wait to meet my future family!

Most of our Meets are done virtually due to Covid as well as successful adopters are often geographically distanced. Fosters and potential adopters arrange "Facetime" meetings.

More about this rescue

A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.

ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
