Apollo is a younger dog who is quite large. He is submissive in playgroups, but does eventually engage. He will make you smile anytime you are around him. He weighs about 70 pounds.
Apollo recently went on a Wandering Rover outing and this is what his partner said: "Apollo is a little apprehensive about getting into a car, but once in, he does very well. He also likes to explore the outdoors and could use a little bit of leash training as he's a strong boy who took ME for a walk, not the other way around. Then again, it could've been due to pure excitement of getting out for a bit. Overall, he's a gentle, friendly, energetic dog who needs a loving owner/family who will give him a place to call home."
Another Rover said "We went to get a pupcup and spent the day walking in the park and at the river! No he was a great dog Apollo was amazing to spend the day with! He absolutely loved the water at the river and went all the way in after walking up and down for a couple minutes! Apollo seemed to do great in the car after a little coaxing at first. He just wanted to lay back and enjoy the ride. He needs a little work on the leash as he does pull a little bit but that should be easy to work on with how treat motivated he is! He also already knows basic commands!"

Our staff will review your application and contact you to discuss the adoption. Please note that we receive many applications, and it may take up to a week before you are contacted.
Adoption appointments are set up using strict social distancing protocols, and many transactions are processed ‘curbside’ outdoors. Our staff will go over appointment details when they speak with you.
Renters bring rental pet policy at time of adoption. Not having the rental pet policy available may delay or nullify an adoption.
Animals are usually able to go home right away, so be prepared for your new pet to leave with you.

- Adult cats (over 6 months): $50
- Kittens (6 months and under): $125
- Two kittens adopted at the same time: $200
