My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Available for adoption!

Sam is all puppy! Loves to run & play but will settle in for some cuddles if you invite him. He does well with considerate dogs of any size and the same goes for children old enough to handle his active play style. He did well when meeting a kitty, even gave her a kiss on her nose.

The family that he selects as his own would be blessed!

More about this rescue

Whitey's Only Wish is a 501(c)(3) Rescue. In honor of Whitey, my precious baby Chow Chow,

In 2011, Whitey was rushed to the ER where the Vet said I needed to prepare as she would not be coming home. I sat by her side in the hospital for three days, promising her if she got better we would help puppies in need. Against all odds she did recover. So in an attempt to keep my promise, and honor her memory our Rescue helps furbabies in need, taking in a Mom & her litter as well as orphaned litters.

I decided in August 2016 to start Whitey's Only Wish Rescue, and it was recognized as a 501(c)(3) in that same month! Whitey is now 14 years old and since her recovery has been a surrogate Mom to more than 200 puppies. Her assistant, Kodie, our 12 year old shepherd/Rottie, helps with the mission as well.
